Hilsen fra Kristiansand!

Dialogue's documentation team is getting ready in Kristiansand for the ASSITEJ Artistic Gathering.

The Dialogue team have arrived in Kristiansand, Norway! We will be joining the hundreds of delegates attending the ASSITEJ Artistic Gathering 2019, a 6-day event hosted by ASSITEJ Norway that has been described as the world’s most important gathering of professionals working within the field of performing arts for young audiences.”

Documenting the Artistic Gathering is a task we don’t take lightly. In the lead up to the event, we have been prepping equipment, double-checking spreadsheets, and training our team. Dialogue believes in the importance of recording and sharing the knowledge, skills, and passion of practitioners so that they may be used to their full potential within the sector. With its expertise in documenting Theatre for Young Audiences / Drama Education conferences and initiatives, Dialogue will be capturing the conversations, producing journalistic documentation, and disseminating this knowledge globally. Throughout the week the documentation team will be working to broaden the impact of the Artistic Gathering to involve practitioners and other professionals who are unable to visit Kristiansand in person. Multimedia content will be used to generate publicity for the conference and contributors and will also serve as enduring resources that mark the success of the event.

Our team has flown in from all over the world, and arrive with expertise in written, video, photo, and audio forms. This week they will come together in Kristiansand with the other delegates to “confront the present”, by asking the question, “What is the status of the performing arts for young audiences around the world today?” Together, we will be enjoying top-notch international productions and getting to know what is going on in the Nordic region.

We just can’t wait for the week to kick-off!
